About The Coach House luxury holiday accommodation
This comfy holiday rental property is located in the grounds of the historic Middleton Hall Estate in Derbyshire's scenic countryside. Beautifully designed, finished to a high standard and sleeping up to five guests, it’s the perfect property for a trip with family or friends.
The main living space is open plan and features a lounge area, a big dining table, and a fab kitchen. It is also super-stylish, with pretty tiles and lovely wallpaper combining nicely with the thick wooden beams, cottage-style windows and the giant fireplace in the corner.
When it comes to meal times, you and your loved ones can socialise together in the lounge whilst the designated chef prepares dinner in the kitchen space. The kitchen is stylish and supremely functional with a big fridge freezer, lots of work surface space, a huge oven and a butler sink. The big wooden dining table makes dinner times a joy and has space to comfortably seat your entire group. After dinner, why not gather on the sofa and comfy armchairs around the fireplace, plotting the next day's activities?
Before bed, be sure to enjoy a luxurious soak in the huge free standing bath tub that sits in the family bathroom. This is the ideal way to unwind after a day out exploring, and the bathroom makes nice use of whitewashed walls and deep blue wooden panelling for a calming atmosphere. This room also has a gorgeous ornate wash basin that sits on a pretty pink, marble-topped unit. There is also a spacious shower as an alternative to the bath.
At night, guests are guaranteed a fantastic night's sleep in the three comfy bedrooms. Bedroom one has a single bed, whilst bedrooms two and three feature Hypnos king size beds. All of the bedrooms feature nice light, muted tones, and offer lovely views of the surroundings. This means you can wake up and enjoy a peaceful lie in with your morning coffee as the natural light fills the room.
The Coach House sits on the Middleton Hall Estate, in a tiny village called Middleton by Youlgrave. This is a very peaceful spot near Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton, and Ashbourne. This means there's plenty to see and do for those who do wish to venture out and explore. You'll also be delighted to know that there are many excellent walking and cycling routes nearby, and guests are even given a pass for six people to Heights of Abraham in Matlock.
Interiors of The Coach House at Middleton Hall
The Interiors of the Coach house were very important to us, and we wanted it to complement the grade 1 listed building and the historic surroundings. The parkland, hall, and the Derbyshire peak district countryside. It also needed to be luxurious, warm, and welcoming space for guests, for couples as well as a large family group. We appointed a local interior designer Esther Walker to give the coach house a complete interior makeover.
Esther specialises in creating the colourful English Country style that is 'perfectly imperfect' - comfortable, pleasing & timeless and she offers both a traditional or contemporary interpretation, which met our design brief.
Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the property Esther has created interiors that really bring the outdoors in, to create a sense of harmony and wellbeing. Classical English designers, Lewis & Wood and Colefax & Fowler, James Hare of Harrogate, Little Greene paints, Farrow & Ball, Neptune and OKA, have been carefully selected for their beautiful wallpapers, colours, fabrics, and furnishings to ensure the interiors are in keeping with the English country style.
Esther offers a number of services, whether you are looking to style your interiors for holiday letting or invest in a total redesign, Esther can assist with tailoring your interiors for the luxury holiday market in Derbyshire and surrounding areas. She also works upon private residential properties. For details of her work and how to contact Esther please visit www.springfieldhouseinteriors.co.uk
We hope you love the interiors as much as we do and that you enjoy your stay.
